My family and I ate here on 1/31/22 for dinner. We stuck with the all-you-can-eat selections and what they had was good. My family had a good time.
I didn't like that the radish wrap had oranges in it.
The service was good. Once you wave at someone; they will quickly come to see if you need anything after they dealt with their immediate task. We had a party of 8 so we had two cooking stoves - split into four people per stove.
I'm sure the food would be good, if we actually got seated. I called earlier to ask if they took reservations for 2 people. They don't, which can be understandable. But when I got there and set my name on the wait-list for 2, we waited for 30 minutes, all the while getting passed over by a different part of 2, who were waiting for less than 10. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, the guy at the front said more than 5 minutes. Ridiculous that they didn't even actually check the wait-list and just let whoever they saw first inside and sit to eat. Not going to even try coming back.
I ate here on February 15th, 2022 and paid $38 per person for dinner. The selection of meat were good and the side dishes were nice. I tried the spicy rice cake and corn cheese, which were very delicious. The spicy rice cake was crispy but not burnt and its flavor was sweet and spicy. The corn cheese had chopped onions, tomatoes, peppers and the cheese was cooked to a nice crisp.
I also tried the steamed egg hot pot but that was terrible. It was almost purely egg. There was no fluffiness to it at all.
I had a great time but I think the price is a bit too high for what they're offering. I think I'd rather go to K-Elements.
Very nice place food is average but experience is great. Recommend for all peaple who want to try to grill inside on Korean way. Drinks are also very good limunade recommend.
My boyfriend and his friends were verbally assaulted and forced to leave the restaurant 40 minutes short of their 100 minute all you can eat policy. The owner threw the check at them, turned off the grill early and argued with them in front of other customers. He didn’t even try to reason with anyone at the table and later called my boyfriend and started berating him over the phone calling him a liar and cursing at him. We’ve never experienced this level of unprofessionalism Ian and rudeness from the owner of an establishment. Be wary whenever you see the older Korean gentleman at the restaurant.
I’ve been going here for 5 years and will no longer be supporting this establishment due to this terrible experience.
I've been to a few different Korean barbecue joints around the bay area, and I have to say that this was the best experience I've had so far.
All of the sides and vegetables were so fresh, the meat was well prepared and seasoned, the Bulgogi was not overly sweet or salty, and the portions were of great quality and good size.
My top compliment is how attentive they were to us as a table, we never had to wait longer than a minute if one of us needed to catch their eye for something, that was only if we had to catch their eye-they kept coming to check on us and ask what else we needed. The turnaround time for delivery to the table was equally fast, I think they just kept bringing us side dish after dish after dish, along with almost all of the meat choices (we doubled some favorites we developed along the way, too) They made it a point to Tell us what each and every item was, which I thought was wonderful and unique. I'm always guessing what I'm eating when it makes it to the table at other restaurants.
Overall we were very happy with our experience and all agreed we would be back...soon!
We were a party of six so they added an 18% gratuity, which we were more than happy to pay- and made it easy for us to split the bill three ways (two cards, and cash) . Came out to $45 per person including tax and tip. This is for the special menu, there is another menu with bougier items but we were happy with the selection we had.
One item that really stuck out to me, and I can't wait to go back for more: Hot stone bulgogi soup. Absolutely divine 🤤
Food is OK but I expect higher quality for premium.
We made reservation, they called to reconfirm, but they just put us on the waiting list. Then we have to wait for 15 minutes outside.
Also I am OK with the 1.5 hours time limit, however, the food served not fast enough.
4 easily because of customer service. They were very nice and super fast. 3 for the food. Brisket was bomb and mainly why I gave it a 4, but the knock is the rest of the meat. I tried the short rib, rib eye, and bulgogi; they were all tooo flavorful and strong on the taste. It is also very sweet. Oh and potstickers and sides were good too!
